Swim Lessons

Swim for Life is a complete learn-to-swim program from Parent & Tot through to Leadership. Easy to program and easy to explain, Swim for Life leads seamlessly into the Society’s lifesaving training awards. The program is endorsed by the International Life Saving Federation and the Commonwealth Royal Life Saving Society.

Registration tips:

Make sure you read our Swim Lesson Descriptions of each level before you register! The Lifesaving Society BC also has transition charts and swim level descriptions.

  1. Plan ahead! We ask all parents & caregivers to make sure their children can attend the lessons they are registered for to avoid cancellation fees.
  2. Register your child in one course per session. If you aren’t sure what level they should be in, please ask our front desk for assistance.
  3. Always check with your swim instructor or follow the recommendations in your child’s progress report before registering for the next level.
  4. Set your child up for success and don’t register for the next level until they have passed the current level they are in.
