Facility Rentals

Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex has a variety of room and facility rental options available, including:

• Have a party in the leisure pool & main pool with a fun leader and wiggle bridge, all for one rate!
• Have a party on the ice and add a disco theme or hockey nets with discounted skate rentals!
• Rent any of the ice surfaces – Arena #2, Rod Brind’Amour Arena, or the leisure ice. Look for special seasonal ice rentals during December when the leisure ice is decorated for the holidays. Click here to view our ice availability.
• We have rooms for meetings and parties or special events.

Saturdays – 3:45-4:45pm
Sundays – 11:45-12:45 (Leisure Pool only)

Shared Rate: $80 per hour for up to 25 people – including adults*.

Includes Leisure and Main Pool, Hot Tub, Fun Leader that may be shared with up to 2 other parties. Please note the waterslide is decommissioned for our REC-REATE Construction.
*All children under the age of 7 must have an adult within arms reach.

Saturdays 5:00-6:00pm*
Sundays 1:15-2:30pm

Cost: $80 per hour, $2.00 skate rentals.

Make your party extra fun by requesting a disco themed atmosphere or have the skate shop staff setup the Leisure ice for a hockey game (foam pucks only).
* Dec 6 to Jan 3: 5:15pm to 6:15pm. North Pole theme will be set up for the holiday season.

Concession Packages

Concession packages are available from September to March.

• hot dog, juice box, a free swimming or skating pass and a healthy fruit snack.

Visit the North Pole – Available during the 2025/2026 Holiday Season from December 1, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

Our Leisure Ice arena is decorated with hundreds of lights, Christmas trees, and of course, Santa and his reindeer flying overhead. Skate amongst the lights or take a break on a bench and watch the excitement around you. Bring your family, teammates, classmates, students, or employees together for a decorated winter skate!
