North Vancouver Island’s premier conference on safety

This exciting three-day conference, with optional third day post-conference training sessions, is proudly presented by the Strathcona Regional District and will take place at the Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex. North Vancouver Island’s premier conference on safety will feature a variety of hot topics for everyone from the most experienced safety professional to new safety committee members.

This year marks the ten-year anniversary of the Upper Island Safety Conference and we are excited to watch the event grow and improve each year. The Upper Island Safety Conference and Trade Show Exhibition features 15 educational sessions, 2 keynote speakers, 3 optional post-conference training sessions, and 25 exhibitor booths. More than 200 delegates from Western Canada are expected. Dave Fennell is safety! Dave has made a career (29 years to be exact) of hands-on practical safety to help front line workers go home safety every day and to assist the most senior management develop and sustain approaches to safety that are world class.

His work in safety has been used in safety management videos and training by companies around the world and his work within the Safety Profession earned him the honor of being named Canada’s Safety Professional of the Year.
